Our Happy Abode :)

Boy, does this house have a story! Our dear friend David found it driving around one day and it was obviously abandoned (for 4 years or so.) So Jeff looked into it to buy for his company and found out that it had been foreclosed on and was going to be put on the market in just a couple of days. So Jeff put in an offer for his office and got it! We had no intention of buying it, until Jeff started crunching some numbers and decided it would be a great investment (plus he loves doing stuff like this.) Wait, did I mention that the house was completely gutted? The house was built in 2004 and that same year a fire happened. Since it was a foreclosure we really don't have the whole story but from what we hear (mostly from the neighbors) the owners started the repairs after the fire but ran out of money and decided to walk away and let the home get foreclosed on.

It was every girl's dream, a bigger house! However, I was in love with my current house, because it was OUR first house. It tooks the jaws of life to get me to move. I placed my faithin Jeff that he knew what was best for our family. After several months of trying to make it our house, I am glad to say I finally feel at home!

Here are some before and after pictures

This is what is looked like when we bought it. (A small rainforest jungle in the front yard)

The back porch where the fire happened.

The cat's favorite part, the stairs!

This is in the master bedroom. I did not want to put too many before pictures, because you can not even tell what room they are. However this is what all the rooms looked like.

Well, didn't finish taking pictures of the whole house because it started getting dark outside. You get the main idea :) We love to have visitors! Just make sure to take your allergy medicine before you come!
