Our Last Road Trip of the Summer :(

You know it is time for our anniversary when the annual Hotter N' Hell tournament rolls around. (This is good for Jeff, hopefully this will help him never forget :) ) Thats right we spend every anniversary sweating at a lacrosse tournament (which I suppose is revenge for having everyone sweat at my wedding.)

This year things were changed up and it was in Dallas. It turned out working out great because it was our 'little' weekend getaway.

Saturday we SWEAT! But we had a great time watching lacrosse and catching up with old friends. It is hard to believe that these Aggie lacrosse guys have been part of our lives for 8 years! Jeff's body held up well and he scored (or so they say, I was too busy talking to the other wives.) We started the night off going out with the lacrosse guys and then ended up back at Bub & Jackie's house.

We stayed at Aloft in downtown Dallas which was very 'posh.' We had a great time feeling like we were hip :) There was a sculpture exhibit going on in the lobby, so we really enjoyed that!




Sunday they played in the championship game and won :) The long drive and dehydration was worth it!

This car parked right next to us made us smile because this is what Jeff calls me :)
