I had this marked on my calendar for over a year, however I was having a challenging time finding someone to go with me (I can't figure out why!) My dad would have gone with me in a heartbeat, but he was out of town :( So reluctanley Jeff agreed to go, because he was afraid what I would come back with if I went by myself :)
So Jeff being the good sport that he is said lets make a "date day" out of it!
We got to the Cat Show about 1 hour after it opened and would you believe there was a long line, that is right I said line! Jeff and I had the privileged of waiting in it twice because apparently they only accept cash or check. FYI for everyone going next year :)
It started off with booths filled of every tacky cat decoration you could imagine. Too bad I was not looking for some dangling black cat earrings, because they had a lot of them :)
Then we made it to the cats that were waiting to be shown. It was amazing how comfortable they all were with the noise and attention. I loved seeing all the different breeds that I had read about in my cat magazines (try to contain the laughs!)
There was also a cat agility portion that we sat and watched for a little while. Apparently a cat will jump through all sorts of hoops if they are chasing a feather :) We then sat down and watched some of the judging.
Thanks Jeff for being a trooper!
Jeff is a good man, LOL! I can't believe you went to a cat show - oh wait, yes I can! Did you see Dr. Rigoni there? :-)
ReplyDeleteThat's one special husband, to attend a cat show! Glad you had a good time.
