It ended up being the largest 'large cat rescue' in the nation! When you pull up you can hear the lions roaring, coolest thing ever! So we signed up for the deluxe tour which included playing with a BABY TIGER!
The usually end the tour with that, but we got to do it first! Her name was Natasha and she was 5 weeks old :) Tell me she is not just the cutest thing you have ever seen! (Shh... don't tell my kitty cats)
We then got the behind the scenes tour of the park. Our tour guide was a little rough around the edges which kept it entertaining. He knew all their names and every time we would walk up to a new cage he would say their name and they would come over to greet him. AMAZING! Most of them were pretty domesticated because they were rescued from people's who illegally tried to have them for pets.
There were 192 big cats plus lots of other awesome animals. I was in HEAVEN :) It was amazing that the only thing that separated us from them was a chain link fence.
Needless to say this is now my new favorite place! We got lots of information about sponsoring one of the cats :) We will be back!
Very cute dress, Be! Mom
