I should start off with saying I have been blessed in my professional career to work with amazing people who have turned into life long friends, and Target is no different!
This shower was a complete and total shock to me to say the least. My pharmacist partner Wendi texted me the night before I was suppose to come in telling me to come in early because we were swamped. Well since I went to bed early the night before I didn't get the text till the morning so I couldn't wake up extra early. I also had to make my normal stop at chick-a-fila since I was so hungry those days. Chick-a-fila was super slow so while the absolute latest I like to get to work is 8:30 (for a 9 opening) I got there at 8:50. Then I run into some of the store managers and they decide to walk with me to the pharmacy which is weird and making me even more late! Well I unlocked the door and to my surprise my coworkers yelled surprise! I didn't have much time to soak it all in because I had to open the gate and get to my patients. They went above and beyond with diaper cakes, diaper wreaths, homemade cupcakes, lots of snack and on top of that gifts! Not to mention they had all been there since 8 waiting for me, opps!
I could kick myself for not getting a group picture! But my brain wasn't working quite right I was so surprised :)
