Lake Austin Trip

We started the summer off the right way with a family vacation!! We went to Lake Austin to stay in a house on the lake with the Mazzolinis :) The extra treat was that Anna was in town from Australia and that Alexis got to go with us! It was some quality bonding time as it was two bedroom and two bathroom for 8 adults and 3 toddlers. Surprisingly we got our own room with the babies since they still aren't sleeping through the night haha :)

We drove there Wednesday evening and Alexis rode in the back seat with the babies.  She is an AMAZING helper and she might have had a little headache since they cried for the last 45 minutes of the trip. Thursday we played in the baby pool in the backyard and then rented a boat that night. The babies HATED the life jackets but LOVED the boat ride!! I thought the first 20 minutes we were going to have to go drop me off with the babies because they were so hot and miserable with the heat and their life jackets on- but once we started really moving (and snuck their life jackets off) they couldn't be happier! Well we did have a pretty steady stream of goldfish crackers available to them too :) Friday we spent the day outside and relaxing and the Parker/Smith family came to visit. Those girls are amazing and how I wish we lived closer to them! Saturday we played board games and relaxed some more (well best you can with 3 toddlers.) I take that back Jeff relaxed and I watched the babies haha. That night the Keymers stopped by with their boat and took us for a ride. The big boys (Bub and Jeff) got to wakeboard and the rest of us just enjoyed the ride. Sunday was Father's Day and it was great to be with everyone!! We are so blessed to have Papa Non as the most amazing example of fatherly love. Jeff is a rockstar dad and got to open his present with surprise tickets to go see Justin Timberlake in December. Sunday we all had to drive home because we all had to get back to our normal lives on Monday.

We LOVE summer! We LOVE playing in water! We LOVE Mazz family!!
