Schliterbahn Galveston

The twins were quite the water bugs this summer so when Jeff got free tickets from work to try Schliterbahn Galveston we said 'Heck Ya.' After having to cancel several weekends because of weather we finally got to go (at the end of September) and it was empty :)

We drove down to Houston the night before to try to break up the commute for the babies. Emily and Bryan were great hosts and prepared a lavish dinner for us made out of their garden. They also had a pool set up in their backyard so the babies were entertained while we ate. The babies of course slept TERRIBLE that night because they weren't in their own house which equals two exhausted parents but we were going to conquer Schliterbahn.

It was a great time for all! We floated around the lazy river for most of the day. They had these great double tubes where there was a bottom on one of the tubes so that a kiddo could sit in it. Us 'big kids' got to go down several slides too as we took turns with baby duty.

No one drowned or got sunburn so we considered it a success!
