Dorothy and the Lion

I figured this was the last year that I got to pick out their costumes- so poor kids had to dress up as characters they didn't even know who they were. Oh well they looked ADORABLE!!

Halloween is my favorite time of year! Not only is the weather AMAZING but there is tons of family stuff to take the kids to do :) Not to mention the kids get to dress up!

Trick or treating was SO much fun! This was the first year that they really got in to it :) We went with several older neighbor kids so they watched everything they did. They followed behind the big kids and wouldn't say anything but would open their bags for candy- it was adorable and made my heart overflow with Halloween excitement! We made it through 2 streets and then the kids started getting cranky. So then we went home and passed out candy on our driveway. It confused the kids a little bit to now be passing out candy but they really got into it! They ate a ton of candy that night- but the best part was the next morning they completely forgot about all their candy- so Mom and Dad got to eat it all :)
