Mazz Madness!: 2nd Annual Savarino/Mazzolini Summer Vacation

We went to San Antonio for our 2nd Annual Savarino/Mazzolini summer vacation and had an AMAZING time!!! We drove up there Friday during the kiddos nap- but of course they couldn't nap because they were SO excited!

What "Headed to Vacation" looks like for Miles

We went to the house we were renting to check in first. It was everything we hoped it would be plus more! It was a 3 bedroom/3 bath house that had plenty of room for us all to spread out. The back yard was perfect! We had our own private swimming pool, sandbox, playground, 2 decks and a grill. However the best part of the whole trip was in the front yard. It was tons and tons of deer! They were everywhere!! The kids couldn't get over how they would get so close to us when we fed them. Every free chance we had the kids wanted to drive around in the van and find more deer on people's front yards. We also went for tons of walks and found lots of baby deer!

After we checked in we went to the grocery store to stock up on goodies for the house. It was an awesome HEB and attached to it was a swanky restauraunt that we tried out and it was great!

We then took a walk to view all our neighborhood deer!

Then we enjoyed the backyard and waited anxiously for the Savarino's to arrive

I mean who doesn't have a sandbox in their backyard on vacation?!?

The next morning we packed up and went to SEA WORLD!!! Jeff and I hadn't been there in at least 20 years and of course this was the kiddos first time. It was hot but we had a BLAST! I think we ended up seeing 6 or 7 shows and the kids loved them all. Their favorite was an adorable cat and dog show that we saw at the end (ironic huh- came to Sea World and favorite part was the dogs!) We spent a good 7-8 hours there- we were wiped out!

Then we came home to continue our new favorite hobby- feeding the deer!! We found out they enjoy Goldfish crackers :) It was unbelievable how many came to our yard and how close they came to us!

The second day there we went to the San Antonio Zoo. It was a beautiful zoo but boy was it HOT! Their favorite part of the zoo was the caroseul they rode on the way out. They had never been on one before and they were SO excited! We came home shortly after lunch and decided the rest of the day was going to be grilling out and pool time!! My boy Miles loves to jump off the side of the pool and he tells you to move back if you are too close because he wants to jump a LONG way! Mallory prefers to sit on the side of the pool and suntan ;) That night we let the kids play with electronics for a little bit so the parents could sit and relax :)
