Jeff (and everyone) thought I was crazy to plan a trip to Galveston in November but it was a BLAST!!!! The house we rented had extra room so grandparents were invited and Mimi and Non decided to come
Our stop at Chick fila on the trip down there
After the museum we went and walked around the Strand. Jeff was pleasantly surprised that it is now like New Orleans and everyone sells beer and walks around with beer. Most of the shops were closed because it later but the kids had a good time seeing everything!

We finally checked into the house and it was time for dinner but we had to play on the beach a little before the sun went down! These kids (Miles in particular) could collect seashells ALL DAY LONG! We then went out on the beach after dark with flash lights to look for crabs- but didn't find any :(
The next morning it was kinda chilly because the sun wasn't out so we decided to head to Rainforest Cafe for lunch! Miles LOVED all the moving animals but we had to move tables because Mallory was freaked out with the moving monkeys that were next to the first table they sat us next to. In the gift shop of the Cafe was a "Build a Bear" shop so of course that is all the kids could talk about the whole meal was when was it time to build a bear! So of course we were on vacation so we spoiled them and let them build a bear!
The bear's little hearts that they gave a kiss to before they put them in the bear
Meet "Annie"
Meet "Vanilla"
Making birth certficates
Happy kids

Our house had a firepit so of course we had to roast some marshmallows when we got home! Then of course it was more beach time until the sun went down!!
Then the sun was finally out and we wanted to play on the beach! It was great because our house was on the beach!! The kids were so anxious to get in the water we even put our suits on and jumped over waves!! We had a BLAST and made some special memories!!!
Thank you Galveston and Purple house- we will be back!!!! I asked Mallory her favorite part of the trip and she said "the stairs in the purple house!"
