Christmas 2017

We started celebrating Christmas early this year! We put the Christmas tree out Thanksgiving day and brought the Elf on the Shelf out (for the first time) a couple days before that! We were busy all season celebrating!

We even got festive in the backyard

Setting up Daddy's old train set

We had read Sunday was a great day to go to Santa's Wonderland- they open up earlier than most days and it isn't as crowded. We had a GREAT time!! The kids loved the trains, the hayride, the funnel cakes, singing carols next to the fire and definitely the pretend snow!

Where do I start with "Rockstar Elfie-elf" as he/she was affectionately called in our house. The kids woke up EARLY every morning to find where he had landed! (Thank goodness Jeff was wonderful at remembering to move him every night!) I thought maybe it would help with Miles picking on his sister but he could have cared less- he made sure to tell me that the elf could not see through the walls. "Rockstar Elfie-elf" didn't get into any mischief this year- maybe next year!

Took Mila for pictures with Santa

Baking cookies for Santa!!!

On Dec 23rd we drove to the Woodlands to celebrate with the Hodges family! We had Los Cucos catered for dinner, opened presents, laughed A LOT, hung out at the fire and spent the night! It was a great time!!

Aunt Eree cracks me up!

We drove home Christmas Eve from the Woodlands and got ready for Santa at our house in College Station. Miles was SO excited it took him over 2 hours to fall asleep. He kept asking "When will we know if we got coal or presents?".... opps... maybe I did scare him with the Elf! Christmas morning was SO fun!!! The part that melted my heart was that they were both excited there was something in Mila & Gabby's stocking they wanted them to open theirs first before anything else- it was SO sweet!

Miles wanted to set up the camera to see if we could record Santa
