We dyed A LOT of eggs this year! Mallory loves eating hard boiled eggs- so it was perfect, resources cheap way to entertain them :) We made them a million different ways and mixed a million different colors! They thought it was amazing the way you could make different colors by mixing colors! By the 5th or 6th round of dying eggs for the month Mallory asked if Miles could dye hers- apparently there is such things as dying egg burnout! We also hid a TON of Easter eggs the month before Easter. Miles is SO clever when it comes to hiding eggs. He would get stools to hide them up high, he would hide them in things and I several times had to give up because I couldn't find them. Mallory is the sweetest hider because she wants everyone to be able to find her eggs and feel good about themselves. So she gives lots of hints and even if you 'can't' find it she will pick it up for you and put it in your basket. They are like night and day sometimes! I LOVE it!
We may have colored our hands too!
Shaving cream colored eggs
We left the eggs outside to dry and Mila ate them colored shells and all!
We then had our annual neighborhood Easter celebration which Mimi & Non were in town for :) Miles was not interested in getting his face painted and Mallory was not interested in looking for eggs! It is so neat to see how different they are!

My aggressive little hunter
Then before Mimi & Non left they gave a little Easter present to the kids
Saturday the day before Easter we went to the Woodlands to celebrate Easter with the Hodges family. We had a great time! The kids got to hunt eggs and got an Easter basket from G&G Hodges.
They are little clowns! They loved wearing their masks from Grandma Hodges to spook people!
Easter morning the Easter bunny found his way to our house! Miles dug through his basket in about 15 seconds and my sweet sweet Mallory took about an hour (for the exact same amount of goodies!) She spent 5 minutes on every treat telling me how much she loved it, pointing out all the colors and what it did- it was precious GOD bless little girls! After baskets and playing with our new goodies and eating A LOT of candy we got dressed and went to the late service at church to celebrate our Risen King!
