When we first started hanging out with Mallory's sweet friend from school Blair- I asked her if she was involved in any extra curricular classes and she said dance. So we signed Mal up for it and she has LOVED it. It is a ballet and tap class and required attire is a leotard and tights. She gets a little timid when we drop her off- but as soon as she gets going she does great! All the parents have to stand outside in the waiting area (aka why I don't have many pictures to share) but we get to watch them on a big TV screen. She is precious because 90% of the girls are just twirling around aimlessly not listening much to the teacher but Mallory never takes her eyes off the instructor and only does what she is told! They had a mini recital in December that Mallory wanted to take no part in.
She had class pictures and a dress rehearsal and we got to snap a couple pictures!
On her last day of class everyone got a trophy which was super cute. Precious little Mallory was even timid to go up and get her trophy in front of her class and their parents. Then the teacher said they had one special award for "An Outstanding Student" who always listens to the teacher, is always nice to her friends, and is excited to be at dance.... and then they said "Mallory Mazzolini!" My sweet girl got recognized for the golden heart that I have known this whole time is in her! She was the only student out of 16 girls!!! Way to GO Mallory!!! We are so proud of you!!!
