The kids were really excited this year about fireworks!! Unfortunately it down poured until about 4:00 in College Station. However as soon as it let up we went over to their school friend Cayden's house to swim and have a cook out- we had a GREAT time and the kids had a good time showing off their new swimming skills! Then we went to Saddle Creek 4th of July parade and the kids loved it and got lots of candy! Then we headed to the Savarino's house for more food and fireworks. Jeff was designated as the party's firework guy and he had a great time! Both of the kids were at his side the whole time and wanting to help him! They also had no fear of the sparklers or of the big firework show once it got dark. In fact they didn't even sit with us once the big fireworks started- they went to sit with their friends :( It was a great day!
