Miles- 65 & 66 Months

Milestones
- Went camping for first time (see camping post)
- Can catch and hit baseball really good
- LOVES any critters
- Knows all of his letters- uppercase and lower case
- LOVES drawing and writing

Eating
I tell him everyday he is going to turn into a goldfish because that is all he eats! I am starting to second guess whether it is a texture thing on why he eats so poorly because the kid can down a s'more like a champ. So as of now his diet consists of milk, goldfish, pretzels, cashews, yogurt, peanut butter crackers and then repeat.

Sleeping
This little boy is my cuddle bug everynight! He wants to be carried to bed and then we snuggle up tight to keep each other warm while he falls asleep. I know we aren't setting up the best habits by laying with them- but this time is so precious to me I can't imagine it any other way. He normally sleeps through the night or wakes up once to go to the restroom. Then he tends to sleep till 7:00 when he hopes in bed between Jeff and I to watch his Ipad until it is time for school. He has a million stuffed animals in his bed- none that he can't sleep without but he does have them all placed very specifically :)

Playtime
It is so fun watching this little guy turn more and more boy every day! All he wants to do it play outside- finding bugs, playing catch, playing soccer, hitting a baseball, riding his bike, jumping on the trampoline, throwing a frisbee or riding his jeep. It is amazing what a little athlete he is turning into also! Miles is my little thinker. He knows SO much more than he leads on to. We will be at a store and he will randomly say every letter in a sign or he will randomly tell me a fact about an animal he learned at school. I quite often follow is smart responses with "Miles that is amazing- who taught you that?" followed by.... "Mom I know everything!" He is very caring and compassionate with his sister when she is upset but only when he is the one not causing her to be upset. It has been SO fun to watch him florish with soccer too! He is definitely the most athletic and in to it on his team! One practice we had out there in the pouring rain but he insisted we still go! Miles also continues to LOVE to draw!! They have the opportunity at school to draw and narrerate their own books at school and he picks to do that at least twice a week bringing home the most creative pictures and books I have ever seen! This little man gives me grey hairs with his stubborness but man it is worth it every time he smiles at me!
