Meet Marshall!

The kids and I were on our way to get flu shots and Jeff calls to tell us he sees a little black kitten in the gym parking lot. Well we told him to do whatever it took to get him! So we went in and got our shots and then went to Walmart to get a litter box and food. We crossed our fingers and went home to find that YES dad had rescued him and brought him home!

The kids were BOUNCING off the wall!!! This is when we knew we had a special cat on our hands- he wasn't phased in the slightest by the kids. He was kneeding biscuits on anyone who held him and was purring like crazy! He however looked really rough- a huge scratch on his nose, a huge scratch on his back and was badly under nourished. So I told the kids we couldn't keep him until we took him to the vet to make sure he was OK. So that night he slept in the laundry room and he was an angel. The next day we took him to the vet and he checked out great! He had worms (which they treated him for) and told us that he seemed about 5 weeks old and just a little less than 2lbs. Well that was all we needed to hear- he was going to be a Mazzolini!

He has melted ALL of our hearts! I have always been a crazy cat lady but I never knew that my kiddos would become quickly obsessed like I am. Miles can't keep his hands off of him and Mallory can't stop calling him 'sweetie.' The funniest part is that he is obsessed with the kids too! He rather be no other place than in their arms!
