Spring Break

Last week was Alexis' spring break so Mimi and Mr. Mark had her all week! Monday we went to one of our favorite places to visit is the Houston Mounted Patrol Barn. Anytime during the week you can come bring carrots, apples or peppermints and feed them to horses. They are all so tame and love some treats! The rule is to only feed each horse two treats, opps! As we were leaving we found a baby goat near the stalls. He loved Alexis and gave her lots of kisses. We tried to talk Mimi into putting it into the back of her car and taking it home :)

Alexis had her first cheer competition, and she did awesome! She was the smallest girl on the team, and the lucky one to be lifted up :) We were so proud of her!

Jeff and I went to the Azalea trail in River Oaks. It took a little convicing for Jeff, but after he got to go golfing all day with his new golf clubs, I got to plan the next days activity! The trail starts at a 14 acre home called Buffalo Bayou. It holds lots of beautiful gardens and the home of late Ima Hogg. It was great to learn about her and all that she contributed to Houston. (Yes I know the pics below are tulips, but they are my fav picture.)
