Lake Conroe & "Lois"

We had a fun filled weekend that kicked off with spending Friday & Saturday at Lake Conroe with the Kochers! We took Alexis because she has turned into quite a little water bug, and knew she would have an awesome time :) We had a great time in the pool, on the boat, in the lake, and playing with all the dogs! Thanks for the invite and the sunburn :)


I am a science nerd, if you did not already know that about me. So as soon as I heard about the rare 'corpse flower' at the Natural Museum of Science, I had to know more about it. So all week I read all the articles I could find about the flower, better known as "Lois." The whole city has been watching and waiting for her to finally bloom! So Sunday night Jeff agreed to go see her at the museum with me. We went to dinner, church and then off to the museum. I had a great time, I think the jury is still out on Jeff :) We are all still patiently waiting for her to bloom.

I am so proud of us, we really are getting out and about this summer :)
