Costa Rica- Day 2

We woke up and had one of the best breakfasts we have ever had at the hotel! I am in LOVE with fresh fruit juice now! After breakfast we decided to go walk to a park close by where their soccer team plays in a really neat venue, I think the picture speaks for itself, but I tripped over a curb and hurt my ankle really bad! Jeff tried giving me a piggy back ride back to the hotel, but that hurt too bad, so he ended up having to come and pick me up in the car! Went back to the room and put ice on until it was time to check out (not to mention shed a few tears that I ruined our trip!)

We had a three hour car ride to our villa so we headed out on our drive along the coast! We got lost a handful of times but finally made it to our villa and could not have been happier! It was on the top of a hill and it was OURS all OURS!

We then drove down to the local grocery store to stock up on goodies! I'm sure we were a skit to watch with me using the grocery cart to hobble around. We only got about half of what we were looking for because we were so hot in there we could not stand it anymore!

Headed back to the villa to continue RICE (rest, ice, compression, and elevate) We watched the sunset from our balcony and called it an early night!
