Costa Rica- Day 6

We tried to continue to find activities that I did not have to walk, so our next activity was horseback riding!

They picked me out the most well behaved horse and his name was "Little Rooster." We don't know what Jeff's horses name was in english but in spanish it was "Cabuncle." We had a 3 hour ride and it was so relaxing! One of my favorite parts was that the owners dogs ran along with us chasing Jesus Christ lizards. They were so cute (and I was really missing domestic animals!)

They lead us to one of the most beautiful waterfalls. I didn't get to make it very close to the waterfall due to the trail, but Jeff got up close and took pictures for me!

We then were lead back to their farm and they cooked a authentic home-made lunch for us. It was fabulous! My favorite part of Costa Rica is how you are invited into their homes to share a meal with them after the activities!

We then stopped at the 'Pharmacia' to get more aloe vera and a new ankle brace. I'm pretty sure I could never be a pharmacist somewhere without air-conditioning! We found a cute ice cream shop and had the BEST ice cream. I still do not know what flavor it is (due to language barrier) but it had raisins in it and it was fabulous!

We then went back to the villa and played in the pool for 3 hours!

I had a new dress just for the trip that I wanted to wear, so we dressed up and went out to a nice dinner. (Shout out to Amy for the dress and the shoes!)

We stopped at this awesome restaurant that we had a passed a couple times. The old plane in the middle of the restaurant was actually the bar. The plane was historical somehow, I just do not remember how :)

We had some amazing food and Jeff's plate was very interesting looking!

We had a perfect nice romantic dinner!
