Washington DC- Day 1

We flew in to DC early Thursday morning. We rented a car and spent the day walking around the National Mall. We stopped at the National Arboretum and Capital Building.

That night we met my aunt & uncle for a monuments bike tournament. I was a little nervous and asked if they had a beach cruiser I could ride but no I had to ride a big kid bike with gears :)


It was a great way to get around and see so much! I learned a lot and Jeff popped a lot of wheelies. We also did the night tour, so it was breathtaking to see the monuments lit up at night.

We were both pooped after a 3.5 hour bike ride :) Thanks Uncle Peter & Aunt Judy!
