Washington DC- Day 2

Friday was a rainy day which was ideal for site seeing but we made it work :)

(My parents walking in front of us, aren't they cute?)

Our first stop was the Smithsonian Museum of National History aka the one in 'Night in the Museum.' Everything was amazing! You could spend weeks and weeks in there and still not get to see everything.

(The Hope Diamond- 34 karats)

We then made our way over to the Smithsonian Museum of Air & Space (by request of my dad and Jeff.) This was definitely not as entertaining to me, but watching the little old men walk around looking at old planes made up for it :)

We had to wrap the day up early to make it back to Bethesda in time for the rehearsal dinner. It was at a Lebannase resteraunt which was new for Jeff and I. It was a special time visiting with family :) Afterward (my crazy family) thought it would be a good idea to go out to a bar. Not my choice of recreation, but I will soak up any family time I can get. Plus we had to keep on eye on the groom and made sure he behaved himself the night before the wedding. We called in a night around midnight... which was big for me :)
