New York City- Day 1

Jeff and I decided to take a last minute vacation, which was MUCH needed! Neither of us had been to NYC, so we decided to give it shot :)

We got up super early and had an uneventful plane ride (well at least with our meds it seemed that way!) We then had to take a taxi to our hotel in Times Square-whoa what a ride! We took a little bit of nap to get us recharged and then went to start being tourists. 

We started by walking up 5th street. We say all the iconic stores such as H&M, Tiffany's, FAO Schwarz, Saks, Barney's, Trump Tower etc. Well we had read that Beckham had some statues around the city to promote his new underwear, well of course we had to go find the one in H&M!

Our walk landed us in Central Park, but we decided to save that for another day so we headed back down 6th St. That landed us at Rockefeller Center. We paid to go to the "Top of the Rock" and got some amazing views of the city!

Our hotel was in a great location in Times Square. It was pretty amazing to walk through that first night! We ran into so many people because everyone is looking up and taking pictures.

Did I mention it was HOT and we were sweating?

We hung out at Times Square for a while, and people watched :) We then went and got Jeff some NYC pizza! We then called it a night because we knew we had a busy couple days ahead of us :)
