National Night Out

Growing up I have vivid memories of going to National Night Out with my family in the Woodlands. Well I had a random idea that it would be a great idea to start the tradition in our neighborhood and it would allow us to meet all the new neighbors. So being the 'cheesy' lady that I am I made up invitations and put them  in everyone's mailbox :) 

It was a great turnout! We had probably about 20 adults and 10 kids. Everyone brought snacks and chairs (which we did not end up using because we were all talking so much.) We had lots of visitors including 2 cop cars, a fire truck and the mayor!

It was a success and we look forward to carrying on the tradition :)
