"O" My Goodness

Friday morning I get an exciting wake up call from Emily! She said a guy she works with had extra tickets to the "Oprah Lifeclass" taping in Houston. Can we say Heck ya! Little tid-bit out there for ya'll that don't know, but I LOVE Oprah. 

It was an amazing experience! We had to get there at 2:15 for the 4:00 taping. Oprah had interviewed Joel Osteen in the morning taping and we were going to get to see Rick Warren (the author of Purpose Drive Life.) The anticipation sitting in our seats counting down the minutes till she would come out was indescribable! It was also nice because on the 'crazy fan meter' I was definitely not at the top at this place. Tons of women were walking around with their Ipads recording EVERYTHING. So my obsessive picture taking had nothing on them :)

The taping we watched won't air until 2013 and was titled "Dealing with the Hand Your Dealt." Oprah was every bit as pretty in person as she is on TV. It was funny though watching her whole crew come out during the commercial breaks to re-powder her face and re-spray her hair! 

I won't spoil anything about the show for you! I have a confession though that I could only half way pay attention because I had to go to the bathroom and if you left the taping you were not allowed back in!
