Milestones:
- When this girl is awake she is smiling! That might not seem like a milestone to you, but her demeanor has made 180 degree turn!
- Mallory is incredibly strong and likes to show it off. She does not like to lay down during play time she wants to be sitting like a big girl and has NO problem controlling her head.
- She follows things with her eyes and loves to make eye contact.
- She learned how to make bubbles and makes them ALL the time!
- Mallory talks a lot, she doesn't have time for cooing because she has got a lot to say!
- She has discovered her hands and loves to have a 'knuckle sandwitch'
Eating:
I don't remember which one started eating like a bird first- but they told the other one to eat like a bird so now they both don't eat as much as they use to. Mallory takes about 1-2.5 oz every 3 hours. When she is finished she lets the bottle sit in her mouth as she smiles HUGE at you letting the formula dribble down her chin! The pedi suggested not to stop her after every ounce to burp her and sure enough she has done fine. In fact it is extremely hard to get one burp out of her after each feed.
Sleeping:
Mallory has learned the most important thing in life- napping is awesome! I wonder if she would have been a napper the whole time if we had tried putting her on her stomach- because that is her magic sleep button. I sit in the couch with her and pat her little booty the whole time and stay on pack patrol because when it comes out of her mouth she wakes up! Along with her brother they both have decided sleeping during the night is not fun. So we are back to feeding them every 2.5-3 hours in the middle of the night. Each others crying hasn't started waking each other up- but I am telling you they wake up at almost the exact same time for every feeding! She is still in her crib and in her zip up swaddle :) My favorite thing is to watch her sleep because she has her mouth open to catch flies :)
Playtime:
Playtime:
Mallory is new woman to be around these days because she is content most of the time. It makes my heart feel so much better not to see her crying 24/7. She isn't big on toys or any of the contraptions we have to put them in, she just wants to be sitting up supporting her own head. She sits in my lap for most of the day watching as we play with brother- but if I try to put her down to play next to brother she will not have it! She has lost her love for the outside- but I blame that on it being SO stinking hot outside. This girl also thinks the TV is cool- don't worry we are working on tea hing them books are cool instead :)
She is my little princess!!
She is my little princess!!

She says she can't understand why everyone thinks she is growing slow

For a 10lb 3 month old, she sure does have a pudgy bellly :)
Her favorite way to sleep during the day on her tummy and a blanket drapped over her head
