First Thanksgiving

This was my year to have Thanksgiving weekend off so we made the most of it! 

On Thursday we made our first trip as a family of 4 to the Woodlands. They did great in the car ride- after going to Oklahoma any shorter car ride is pure bliss :) We enjoyed each other's company and ate some yummy food that Grandpa and Grandma Hodges prepared. We tried taking the rug rats for a walk but it was just too windy and cold outside! Thanksgiving # 1 celebration was a success!

                                              

                                          

                                                   

                                        

Friday morning we packed up the car with quite possibly everything we owned plus the dog and went to Dallas. Another great car ride by the babies- they rock at car rides! That night we settled in to Bub and Jackie's and waited for Papa Non and Mimi to arrive. Bub and Jackie were gracious hosts and let us have their master bedroom so we could set up both pack n plays in the room with us. Did I mention the dog slept in the room with us too?? The babies weren't thrilled about sleeping in a new place so they both ended up in bed with us- at least we kept the dog out of the bed :) The next day was spent eating thanksgiving lunch, going to the park, playing football, watching football and napping. Miles and Mallory got to test out some of Marks big boy toys such as the swing and tricycle.  Sunday morning we packed up and heads back to College Station.  It was a perfect weekend full of family!
