Eating:
Not much has changed on the home front with Mallory's formula routine. We are still using the generic Enfamil from Target to try to help with their constipation. Luckily Mallory is pretty regular- if you know what I mean. She is continuing to have 5 bottles a day and 1 during the night- on the nights that she wakes up. She continues to try new food and continues to give me hope that I won't have 2 picky eaters :) She has discovered that she loves goldfish crackers and apples. It is amazing how the little girl who only has 2 teeth can shell out an apple slice! She is awesome at picking up food and feeding it to her self too! We finally hit the one milestone that I dreaded.... the first stomach bug. It happened the Saturday before Mother's day and she threw up at least 4 times :( Sometime after the 2nd throw up we started feeding her small bottles of plain water instead of formula. That night we went out to eat with friends and it was so hard to keep her little hands out of the french fries- so she obviously didn't feel too bad :) She definetly favors the orange baby foods for some reason such as sweet potatoes, macaroni and cheese and squash. She is very adventerous and will try most anything that we put in her mouth :) The funnest is that Miles will not let anything go in his mouth until Mallory has tried it first- even if it is the the tried and true pureed baby food!

Sleeping:
Mallory has officially become one of those 'bums in the air' sleepers and it is adorable! Otherwise her sleeping hasn't changed much. It is hit or miss if she sleeps through the night and obviously is smart enough now to know if she cries we will wake up and come rock her. (This house just can't do the crying out thing!) She is still taking 2 1 hour naps (if I am lucky) around 10:00 and 2:00. We are contemplating separating the babies for sleep time because we can not let them fuss for even a little bit without them waking each other up. I think the crawling during the day has helped wear her out a lot more however she still doesn't go to bed until 8:30. That is OK with mommy because that means I still get some good quality time with her when I get off work at 7:00.

Playtime:
Mallory's playtime has gone to a whole new level now that she crawls/scoots! I have to explain the scooting/crawling because it isn't your average one. She tucks her right leg underneath her and uses her right hand to balance and uses her left leg to pull her forward. It is so stinking cute and the funniest part is that Miles does it the exact opposite way! This girls gets into everything- she truly is so happy now being able to be independent :) Her favorite thing to get into is the cat or dog food-haha! She continues to amaze me with how much she learns from just watching us- not even trying to teach her. When she started waving 'bye' I was shocked because we hadn't even tried to teach her that- seriously how does she do that?!? Watching her talk is another amazing experience. Everytime she uses 'uh-oh' she uses it in appropriate context!! Seriously!! She pointed at a spoon on the floor the other day and said 'uh-oh'- how does she knows spoons don't belong on the floor? As her intelligence grows so does her attiutude/personality! She knows what she wants and when she wants it and if it doesn't happen that way she throws a precious little fit :) I didn't know they could have opinions this early- but I think it is darling!  Only a mom can think her daughters fits are adorable! She has also been evolving into a little bully- you heard it that little angel is ruthless. ANY toy Miles has she wants and she will take from him just to make him mad. Unfortunately for her he has learned how to bite. Mallory is also the little computer whiz. She officially knows how to turn our iPhones on- Mommy says uh-oh! Overall she has the sweetest smile on her face 95% of the day! My absolute favorite is when she does one of her 'tricks' and she smiles from ear to ear because she is so proud of herself. She can be throwing a tantrum and you start singing patty cake and she will stop crying to concentrate on her clapping :) She will always be my princess!!
