The Brazos Valley fair was in town and OH MY GOODNESS did the babies have fun!!! If I didn't know any better I would say they are both going to grow up to be farmers- or have a lot of household pets :) We really lucked out because Mimi was in town visiting too!
One of their favorite parts of the fair was a 'Cowboy' in training sections where they got to ride tractors, milk fake cows, rope stuffed horses, pretend to have a campfire, a pit of beans to play with dump trucks and dress up in cowboy gear.
Goes without saying that one of their other favorite parts were the ANIMALS! They loved the animals in the cages and the animals in the petting zoo! I think it is safe to say because Mila & MJ are so tame our kids do not have any healthy fear of animals. They were walking around the petting zoo like they were in their own backyard. The only time Mallory did get a little upset was when the goats kept eating her dress :)
This fair was my first glimpse into their pending independence. They walked around the whole fair like the owned the place and never once looked back to see where Mom and Dad were. Oh my goodness how do I keep up with them now!! Luckily their were 3 adults for 2 one year olds :) I hope to never forget the most precious moment where Miles left our table where we were eating to go out on the dance floor and dance in front of the band. I wish I would have gotten it on video but I am also glad I enjoyed the moment :)
