Eating
Nothing more has changed with Miles' eating. In fact if possible it is worse :( The good news is he has stopped his inducded gagging/throwing up! So now any miniscule of food we get in him actually stays in him. He for breakfast has started eating a nutrigrain bar usually followed by some goldfish. Lunch is usually chips with peanuts and dinner is usually pretzels or cherrios with a yogurt drink. When I need to do some serious bribbing he will do about anything for a cookie, smartie or peppermint :) He continues to drink his milk like it is going out of style- which I truly think is his only form of caloric intake. He also isn't very interested in sitting in his high chair anymore. He rather sit in a big chair or eat food in the playroom so he doesn't have to stop playing :)
Sleeping
Miles is a GREAT sleeper! He wakes up maybe 1-2 nights a week which for us is wonderful! However he recently had a cold and he would wake up 6-10 times a night asking us to come blow his nose. We would leave a tissue on his pillow but he wanted our help blowing his nose (which is comical in itself because he actually sucks in instead of blowing out!) When we do have to bring him into bed with us he just curls up on the pillow in between us and falls asleep almost immediately- such an angel! Both of them have been getting harder to go to bed in the evening time. Mostly because they can't stop playing with each other. We still all 4 lay in bed together, read a book, watch an episode of Daniel Tiger Neighborhood, and then watch 'boy' (an episode of Mom & Dad's choosing) in which they normally fall asleep. However they have a tendency to start playing under the covers, kicking each other or standing up on their pillow and jumping off. Needless to say they usually don't get transfered into their crib till around 10:30 after they have been sleeping in our bed for about 30 minutes. Jeff and I are usually tapped out after that and go straight to bed after that. He is really really good about going down for naps! After we go put Mal-Mal down in her crib we walk into his room to put him down. Occasionally he will say "No sleep Mommy and Daddy bed" and I go lay down with him in our bed as we are nose to nose and he holds on to both of my ears. I could lay like that with him forever!
Playtime
Miles continues to become more of a 'man's man' everyday! He litterally is obessed with trucks and really anything that has wheels. He is really really good at recongizing different peoples cars/trucks. If he sees the model and color of one of our neighbors cars while we are out and about he points it out and he is ALWAYS right! He LOVES all the construction going on in our neighborhood and we got on bike rides/walks all the times to see all of the huge trucks/tractors and of course port-o-potties. His new found OBESESSION is his electric cars. We got a red convertible and a huge jeep as hand me downs from family and he is a professional driver in them! The kid wakes up asking to drive his jeep- which to be honest when we got I was concerned was way too much power for them at this age but he handles it like a monster truck driver. He reverses, goes over rough terrain, makes 3 point turns, and can stop on a dime! He has never hit anyone or anything and loves going over the bumps, holes and divits in the median in front of our house. The older neighbor girls love riding shot gun to Miles and I have never seen him have a more proud look on his face! He also continues to be in love with all animals! He is constants loving ALL over Mila and wanting to go walk around the neighborhood to find cats, squirrels, birds etc. He has developed a little bit of a temper and when you don't give him something he wants he goes and finds a hard object and bangs it against a door or a cabinent. He is then quite defiant when you tell him to stop he looks you straight in the eye and bangs it again. You then tell him he is going to time out if he does it one more time and he usually gets a big grin on his face and does it again. So as of right now time out is in a pack n play in our spare bedroom and Miles is visiting it at least once a day right now. He stays in time out for 1-2 minutes and then before he gets out he has to say sorry to whoever he hit or disobeyed. Those dimples get that little boy out of some trouble :) He continues to be my cleaner/organizer like Jeff. When he is done with toys he likes to put them back and ALWAYS knows where he put something the last time he played with it which cracks me up because Mallory and I can't tell you where we last put anything down. He also does not like cabinets doors not closed all the way, pantry door cracked or anything spilled on the floor. He corrects ALL of those situations as soon as he notices it. If his milk spills he says 'Oh uh Oh uh' continuing to get louder and louder until you clean it up. I love my little minature Jeff more than words can explain! He continues to be a little more attached to Jeff and I which melts my heart. When we are at home he is the more independent one but when we are anywhere else he wants to be held by one of us or at least be close enough to hold our hand. Even our close friends he won't let hold him- which is OK with me- more loving for me :)
