Miles- 33 & 34 Months

Milestones
 - LOVES construction vehicles and knows ALL their names
 - Wears a size 5 shoe, size 5 diaper (even though too big), and size 18-24M clothes
 - Prays at bedtime
 - Gets more stubborn everyday
 - Could be potty trained if he wanted to- but he prefers diapers
 - Will finally watch TV- it just has be Monster Trucks
- Has started to like taking showers
- Is in love with his paci and kangaroo

Eating
We will keep this short and sweet- this little boy eats nothing :( Seriously I don't know how he keeps up with the amount of energy he burns in a day. He will eat cheerios, chips, popsicles, goldfish and candy. Fruit he enjoys the taste of and will suck on stuff but will NEVER swallow anything. Everything else he won't even let touch his lips.  He still drinks whole milk that he gets nutrients from at least!

Sleeping
I am jealous of Miles because the boy does not require very much sleep! He goes to bed around 8:30 or 9 every night and is up around 6 or 7 every morning. Then when it comes to nap time we are lucky if we get 90 minutes out of him! I seriously see this kid for a least 2-3 hours more a day than I do Mallory. I love our cherished one on one time though! He also has stopped watching the 'TV' in his crib. He is funny because when he gets tucked in he wants EVERY blanket that he owns on top of him- which is usually his blanket (pillowcase) and 3 fleece blankets! We have to wait until he falls asleep and then we go in there and take them all off of him. He also must sleep with his stuffed Kangaroo. It lays on his pillow with him and he snuggles up with it. We had a couple nights where he asked us to leave the overhead light on or waking up in the middle of the night asking us to turn the light on- so now we leave a lamp on his room every night :) When we are laying in our bed at night doing our bedtime routine he takes turns laying with Mommy or Daddy and of course he is always holding on to our ear. We say our bedtime prayers and he usually stays quiet but sometimes chimes in but he ALWAYS claps afterwards which warms my heart! Then comes the daunting task of him kissing and hugging his sister good night. He always claims 'already did' when in fact we all know he didn't. He then scoots to the other said of the bed and says 'all the way over here.' What a little toot! Luckily we all get one out of him before he goes to bed!

Playtime
I know I can't say this enough but Miles is ALL boy because we sure as heck know he doesn't learn this stuff from me. Miles could dig in the dirt and talk about construction vehicles ALL day! It could be 1,000 degrees outside and all he wants to do is mow the lawn like daddy and if the TV is on it must be Monster Trucks. Car rides are SO fun with him because he literally pics out every vehicle near and far! He is my much more independent player and can sit in the toy room for sometime content by himself and his trucks/cars/trains. However whenever we get in a group situation not at our house he is my mama's boy that won't leave my side :) He is awesome at 'figuring' things out. He got a remote control car for ages 5+ that he figured out super quick. He also makes all sorts of trains, cars and vehicles hook together using different things. He LOVES his paci and I don't know how we are going to get it away from him. Even if it isn't in his mouth he must know where it is at ALL times! His 'lovey' per say is still his stuff kangaroo- which doesn't have a name but we all love dearly! He LOVES his dog Mila or Mila bones and he normally refers to her. He doesn't have any healthy boundries with her so it usually consists of a lot of hair pulling and tail pulling but also lots of snuggling. If Mila is near you can always find Miles sitting next to her or on her :) This litlte guy is getting quite a bit of a defiant attitude. If he does something to hurt or pick on Mallory (which is usually at least 1/2 dozen times a day) he will NOT say sorry if his life depends on it! We will spank him and put him in time out until he does- and he won't! Also if he has his mind set up on something there is no changing it- hence the picture of him below in girl clothes out in public. We are all about letting them dress up in whatever during at home but it was World War 3 getting him to put on boy clothes for gymnastics and I lost the war.
He is a rockstar at riding is his bike and gets more daring every day going over curbs, down stairs etc. However there is one thing that will slow this boy down- that would be rock in his shoe or mud on his shoe (he is definetly his father's son!) Miles- I LOVE you as much as you love dump trucks x 1000!!!
