Peace Out Pacifiers!

We knew it needed to happen..... we just didn't have enough energy to put up the fight. Miles had really stop wanting his at all during the day except when he was tired but Mallory was still pretty attached to hers. I was at work one day and called during my lunch to check in and Jeff told me today was the day he had taken their pacifiers and was not giving them back- I was scared to come home from work! We came up with the story of telling the kiddos that we gave their pacifiers to Baby Margaret on Daniel Tiger Neighborhood. Miles promptly told me "Daniel's Dad needs to buy Baby Margaret new pacis." So we went on and on about how happy Baby Margaret was and that they were such big kids for sharing! That night they asked for them a couple times before they went to bed but then they slept through the night not asking for them once! INCREDIBLE!! The next day they asked for them a couple times when they got tired but were fine when we reminded them where they went! Praise Jeff for his initiative to take them away- they might have had them until they were 10 :) Praise M&M for adjusting to change and be so willing to share with Baby Margaret :)
