Eating
Sweet Mallory is in LOVE with her milk. Everyday we say we are going to try to cut back on how much we give her but she just asks for more and more each day. You know she is tired when she asks for her milk! She has become a really good eater of watermelon and strawberries recently. She also does good at Chick-a-fila but has to have the 'yellow dip' (Chick-a-fila sauce) to dip everything in. One of the funniest difference between the 2 kids is Miles wants everything HOT and Mallory wants everything COLD- regardless of what it is suppose to be.
Sleeping
The current 'situation' of not sleeping is. We watch an episode of Daniel Tiger Neighborhood in our bed or on a pillow in their room. We then say our prayers and we lay down next to each of their 'big kid' beds holding their hand through the rails until the fall asleep. We went for about 3 weeks without them taking naps but we quickly realized they (and mom) needed it to be able to make it through day without a million meltdowns! She is a champ at coming in our room and going straight to her cot-no questions asked- YEAH MALLORY!! It is also amazing when she wakes up every morning with a dry diaper and tells us she has to go potty.
Playtime
I never ever want to forget how sweet Mallory is with her babydolls. She calls them "sweetheart", "big girl", and "princess." She rocks them, reads to them, hold their hand and takes them EVERYWHERE. This is also comes with the heavy price that she is VERY upset when they aren't buckled in their stroller right, they can't be found, they aren't wearing the right clothes or she can't find their bottles. EVERYTHING is a big deal to Mallory :) She LOVES singing songs and everytime we are in the car we go through every one we have in our mental song bank :) She continues to be very social always wanting to be outside with neighbors or with Addison. She is very very go with the flow and is up to anything new! I apologize now for all of the horrible hair pictures- the girl will not let me brush her hair or put it in a pony tail. Her favorite toy right now besides her baby dolls is her 'lipstick' (chapstick) and her purse. Seriously how does she know how to do that when I don't have either of those?!? This girl can take it to a whole other level when she is tired. There have been several tantrums where Jeff and I just shrugged our shoulders and she rolled across the floor screaming and nothing we could say or do could make a difference. It is funny because when she finally calms down she talks about it very third person and says "Baby Mallory was crying!" She knows exactly what she is doing she just can't help herself! I can always count on Mallory to notice my clothes, hair, or nails and tell me how pretty they are!
