Eating
Oh brother bear....what do you eat? The answer is still nothing :( His daily food intake consists of chocolate protein bars, shredded cheese, french fries, chips, goldfish, peanuts and cheerios oh can't forget CANDY. We have also started putting Carnation Instant breakfast chocolate flavor into his milk for a couple extra calories and he likes that. Miles is getting very sensitive about textures again. If it is something dry and it doesn't make it down in one swallow and gets stuck on his tongue he freaks out. He sticks his tongue out and tries to wipe the food off with something and if that doesn't work he self induces vomiting- lovely. I usually rush him to the bathroom and try to rinse off his tongue with water which sometimes works. Miles you are a funny little boy!

Sleeping
Oh Miles...... your daddy and I draw straws on who sleeps on the side of the bed with your cot because you are a little more demanding during the night than your sister. The current bed time routine is drink milk while we read books, then brush teeth, pray and then I lay on the floor and hold both of your hands (the cribs are pushed together) until you fall asleep. Usually 3-4 hours after that he comes in our room with his entourage of babydolls and tucks everyone in on his cot and then asks to hold our hand. So Mom usually ends up dangling her hand over until she can't feel her fingers anymore. It is amazing how much tender loving care he gives his babies in the middle of the night. He takes them out of his crib, places them in a stroller, pushes them into our room, unloads them on his cot and then puts blankets over them. He may keep us from sleeping at night but how can you get mad at him tucking in his babies and asking to hold your hand? We had a month or so where we thought you didn't need naps anymore-but mommy needs that nap time! So it is like wrestling bears getting them to sleep in the afternoon but it is worth it even if it is for 15 minutes! One thing that he seems to be outgrowing which breaks my heart is that he doesn't hold his ear or our ears anymore when he is tired :(

Playtime
Miles continues to get funnier and funnier! He is definetly going to be my comic and smart ally :) He purposely says the opposite of what is correct whenever you ask him a question and he does it with his cute little smirk and dimples. I tell him "I love you Miles" all the time and he replies with "I love Daddy." Little stinker! This past couple months he has really gotten into his babydolls or stuffed animals. It is usually his kangaroo or his boy babydolls but he takes them EVERYWHERE! We are talking in the grocery store, in the car, in Lowes, in bed, to dinner etc. He is very meticulous about getting them dressed, putting them in strollers, making sure they are comfortable, and make sure they are with him at all times. It is precious! He also has started doing this funny little walk that we call "The Miles Swag" because he hunches his shoulders over and bends his knees and walks like he is too cool for school! He has blossomed into my water bug! At the beginning of summer he was still unsure about his floaties but now he LOVES them and will just float around the whole pool by himself with or without someone in their with him. His passion for trucks continues to grow! He is definetly more independent when we are at the house and can play for 15 or so minutes by himself without me but when we are out in public he continues to be the clingy one. Miles is still the more adventerous one who will take a curb with his bike, roll around in the dirt, or drive wrecklessly in his jeep. His imagination continues to grow and that is so FUN! All of his cars tend to run out of gas a lot and they have to go to the gas station to fill up :) He has also started to get a little more interested in 'super heroes.' He still doesn't seem to care who any of them are but anytime Mallory wants something princess related he wants something spiderman related haha! I pinch myself everyday to make sure I am not dreaming up this amazing little boy!
