Eating
Nothing new has changed when it comes to Mallory's eating except that she can chew gum now and has become a gum fanatic! She is great at it though and can chew it for hours before she throws it in the trash can.
Sleeping
Mallory has turned into our early riser! Because this little cutie refuses to take naps- she becomes Princess Whiney Pants around 4:00 and we end up putting her to bed around 7:30- which you would think would explain her waking up at 6:00 every morning- but her brother will sleep till 7:30! She sleeps on her mattress next to my side of the bed and she tries to climb in bed several times during the night in which I tell her it is still dark and she has to go back to her bed. Finally when the sun comes out she knows the routine that Mom & Mallory can go on the couch and drink milk and watch cartoons. She is the craziest sleeper and in any given night her head could be ANYWHERE on her bed! She is a tosser and a turner- not to mention a thrasher! She also cries out in the middle of the night which is startling for the rest of the crew. They are still sleeping on their mattresses in our room- but it is working out because we are all sleeping more. Every night though she insists her daddy lay with her while she falls asleep.
Playtime
Mallory is REALLY into helping me these days which is precious! She helps me move clothes from washer to dryer, hang clothes on hangers, load and empty the dishwasher and cook! My new favorite thing- is EVERYTIME I tell her "Mallory I love you" she replies... "I love you too mommy!" She is the most thoughtful caring little person ever! She spends half her day telling me I look pretty, telling me she loves 'anything and everything', and picking things out for his brother because they are his favorite color. Her current favorite activity is dressing up all of her baby dolls and putting diapers on them, socks on them, changing their diapers etc. Sometimes during the day she won't let me go in different rooms because she says I will wake the babies :) She also is a ROCK star at hide and go seek! She is really funny though because if you don't hide where she wants you to- she will help you go hide where she thinks you should. She continues to get more and more independent wanting to open the fridge herself, go potty by herself and put her socks and shoes on herself. Thankfully this little princess still loves the camera too and I can always count on her to strike a pose when I get out my phone. Mallory is also VERY into details! When she comes home from school she can tell me every little thing down to what shoes everyone was wearing and it could even be several days after the fact- she has quite a brain up there! She LOVES being pushed on the swing outside- and could do that for hours! She has learned how to pump herself- but rather us push her! I didn't think I could love anything as much as I LOVE her!
