Eating
I am convinced one day this little guy is going to eat me out of house and home- but today is not the day. He will eat his body weight in goldfish, cheerios and wheat thins but that is about it! Everytime he poops I'm not sure where it came from. He will get hungry enough to eat 2 or 3 nuggets from chick fila and of course french fries. He will also eat chicken and beans from freebirds- if you catch him on a good day.
Sleeping
One of my favorite times of the day is snuggling with this little guy at bedtime. He insists on me laying with him (which is good because Mallory only wants her daddy) and we just lay nose to nose taking turns telling each other that we love each other. Since he doesn't nap anymore he falls asleep almost as soon as he closes his eyes. He sleeps in a little later than his sister too till about 7:30 :) He has a huge entourage in his bed with about 10 stuffed animals, trucks, flash lights, etc and he knows when even one of them is missing!
Playtime
Since I am not use to little boys it is such a TREAT to watch him play! He is like a little engineer all the time making ramps for his cars, attaching ropes to things so he can pulls stuff, building garages for his cars and making race tracks. He is also really starting to get interested in sports- wanting to dribble a basketball, play with the lacrosse sticks and kicking a soccer ball. It is incredible to ride in the car with him because everytime we pass a construction site he knows the same of ALL the trucks that are working- he has taught me a lot! It is so funny to watch him be a little boy- because he attaches the word 'poop' or 'pee' to everything he says and then he can't stop laughing. Toots crack him up like nothing else- and he yells out the word 'gassy' everytime! He can be the biggest little terd ever when he wants to. He is VERY stubborn so if I tell him no- that is even more reason for him to do it! He builds these huge towers for him climb up to get things I have put out of his reach. And you have another thing coming if you think he is going to tell anyone sorry- he rather eat glass! I love that he stands up for what he wants- but we might have some roadblocks as he gets older. He also likes playing with his baby doll every once in a while- especially if that is what Mallory is playing with. He ADORES his sister and wants to do EVERYTHING like her- it melts my heart! He continues to be incredibly brave- always wanting to ride his bike down hills, in the grass, jump off things, climb high or try new things! However he stays the timid one when it comes to being around strangers. That is OK with me- you can hang on to your mommy has long as you want buddy!
