This year the kids birthday was SO fun because they understood that they were not going to be 3 anymore but were going to be 4! (Not to mention they point out any/all toys they could see at any store and tell me they wanted it for their birthday)
Since they have summer birthdays they had a 'pretend' birthday at school that they were pretty excited about!!!
On their actual birthday we played hard, went to gymnastics and opened presents!! They had a great day!! Miles got from Mom & Dad: a cement bruder, a super man shirt, safety orange cones, bunji cords and a new toothbrush. Mallory got from Mom & Dad: a baby doll, sticker earrings, a necklace, doll clothes and a new toothbrush.
Jeff decided they were old enough to have a friend birthday party this year so we booked a Saturday at Powersports! We had a 1/2 Cars party and a 1/2 Princess party! The kids had an absolute blast! I have never seen them play so hard!! Mallory got a little tired half way through because they had had a long week of playing- but who doesn't need snuggles half way through your party. After the party we had the Mazzolini side over for water slide and pizza. It was great to spend time with the cousins since we hadn't seen them in a while. The next morning we all went to the neighborhood pool (where they used their reserves of energy!) It was a great weekend of celebrating 2 of the most special kids ever!!!
