Miles- 61 & 62 Months

Milestones:

- Can swim by HIMSELF!!!

- Still rocking riding his bike with no training wheels

- Is becoming so much more confident

- LOVES snuggling with his Mom at bedtime

- Has almost mastered all his letters

- Rode on a jetski

Eating

Unfortunately nothing here has changed. This summer he has added a little watermelon into his diet but that is about it. The boy survives on goldfish, chips, milk and peanut butter crackers.

Sleeping

We had big hopes that putting in a swimming pool would wipe our kids out and they would sleep like champs however it went the other way. I can't complain because Jeff is the one that gets up with them during the night but Miles consistently gets up about 2 times a night and Jeff takes him back to his room to help him fall back asleep. I somewhat blame our schedule that we go to bed late and they still wake up early no matter what time they go to bed. 

Playtime

Miles is SO much fun! No matter the weather or circumstances he is always up to go swimming, biking, swinging, or anything outside! He is LOVES driving his remote control car he got for his birthday and to be quite honest he rocks at driving it! Miles and Mallory play SO good right now! Mallory tends to be the one in charge so they play baby dolls, little plastics doll house people and barbies a lot. Mallory always make Miles pretend to be the baby and he 'does' a little baby voice and it is adorable! His little brain is always ticking and he asks the most in depth questions that I don't know the answers to 95% of the time. He is obsessed with Mila and you can always find him touching her with his hand, foot, or whole body. Laying in bed with him is my favorite time because he usually wraps an arm around me and he always tells me he loves me. If we ask him if he wants to do something but he wants to do something else he always yells "But I love you, Mom" or out of the clear blue while he is coloring he yells "Mom..... I love you!" He has continued to LOVE drawing! He is SO creative and draws pictures that I would never think of. He also loves making items out of papers and other crafts. He also continues to be a little goof ball always making up songs, words or dances! Having a little boy is everything I dreamed of plus more!!
