2 + 2 = 4

We are adding 2 legged children to our family this time!!

By now most of you know the news (as of today we are 34 weeks along) but I am excited to finally write a blog post about it :)

We found out the beginning of November we were pregnant and made an appt right away because of our history of miscarriages, we wanted to be monitored very closely. That next week we went in for an ultrasound and this is what we saw:

Two little ones!!! We were shocked and the nurse had to bring me water because I almost passed out! The doctor looked at them for a while and said ones heartbeat was a lot slower than what it should be so not to get our hopes up to continue the pregnancy with twins.  We left with such mixed feelings of complete joy, shock and concern for the underdog baby. We didn't want to tell anyone yet and we decided all we could do was turn it over to God and leave it in his hands,  I was due for another ultrasound 2 weeks later but that would have been Thanksgiving (and our doc is only in town on Thursdays) so we had to wait till the next week. Three excruciating weeks of not knowing if we were pregnant with two or even one! When we went back for the follow up ultrasound and they both had a normal heart rate- Praise Our Lord God :) We feel so blessed and know so many people had been praying for us and our journey over the past year!
