Brenham Trip

We had visitors in town so we decided to take a little road trip to Brenham to check out the local attractions.

We of course started out with a playground! It was a great one with several different play areas. It had a huge skate park and I thought ahead and brought their scooters so they had a great time as we worked up an appetite for some ice cream.

After we were all hot and sticky we headed to the Blue Bell factory! They don't do tours anymore but they had a lobby of all sorts of pictures and interesting videos you could watch. We got to go watch the assembly line for a little bit but no pictures were allowed. After all the site seeing we finally got to try the ice cream which was of course delicious!

After ice cream we went and got lunch in downtown Brenham- it was yummo! The kids favorite part was that it was attached to a candy store so of course we had to indulge in that too! We saw an add about a place that had mini horses so on the way home we checked that out. It was a place where nuns lived and they take care of 10 mini horses. They were super cute but we didn't stay long because we were all hot and tired!
